About Us!
In the early 70’s, David herring entered the world of fish and aquariums at the popular animal adventure in Speedway, IN. After years of maintaining the fish room at the pet shop, he decided to venture out on his own. in 1976, African Adventure Aquarium Service was born. After an incredible career, David has now retired from the service business and is managing the African adventure hatchery. His son, Cody, has now taken over the service business and is carrying on his dad’s remarkable legacy in the greater indianapolis area.
I have been around aquariums and African cichlids my entire life and developed an immense passion for the subject. I love spreading my love for fish and aquarium care with my clients around the state. It would be my absolute pleasure to welcome you into the African Adventure family and show you why these incredible fish have changed so many lives for the better!
